Shillong on the Boil After Residents Clash With Bus Drivers, Cops; Curfew Imposed in 14 Localities

The clash was triggered after a bus conductor was allegedly assaulted by residents of the Them Mawlong area. By evening, rumours started doing rounds on social media that a local resident had died in the clash, which enraged people, who started marching towards the locality.
